The Company is driven by several key objectives:
Launch of a Mid-Engine Supercar
The primary goal is to launch a mid-engine supercar that not only serves as a platform for a successful and profitable business but also establishes a niche in the lucrative supercar market.
Development of an Iconic Product
In addition to creating a groundbreaking product, the Company aims to cultivate a skills and knowledge base within New Zealand. This initiative may lead to the establishment of a recognized body of specialist vehicle engineering and design experts, potentially positioning New Zealand as a hub for concept vehicle development.
Collaboration with Universities
The Company seeks to collaborate closely with institutions such as Massey University and other New Zealand universities. This collaboration will provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in design, testing, and production, fostering the development of Kiwi specialist expertise. Moreover, it aims to showcase New Zealand’s “can-do” capability to the global industrial sectors, while creating employment opportunities and fostering partnerships and alliances between industry and academia to advance specialist knowledge and intellectual property.
Celebrating Motorsport Legacy
A significant aspect of the Company’s goals is to create a fitting legacy that celebrates the last 40 years of New Zealand’s motor racing history. This includes honoring the achievements of iconic figures such as Denny Hulme, who claimed the Formula One World Championship in 1967 and won two CanAm Championships. Alongside fellow countrymen Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren, they contributed not only to driving achievements on the world’s motor racing circuits but also made notable engineering contributions behind the scenes.
